1) PLOT SUMMARY
- Lt Cmdr Calhoun's admittedly crazy plan is set in motion at last:
While the engineer remains on Lyrilia, the crew of Charon and the IKS Ya'Vang under command of Ch'Krang initiate the tachyon beam
to catapult the troubled planet through space and time.
- Lieutenants Elizabeth Johnson and Evelyn Darc are tasked with destroying the remaining Omega molecules.
- Despite initial troubles, the planet enters the rift in one piece and Omega is safely destroyed.
- Commodore Rehu orders the ship to proceed to the "Rufo - Tyrax" system which appears to elicit little reaction from either of the two officers.

- Ensign Cyrin Dicari, Ensign Rufo and Cadet Nathanial Doyle actually manage to keep the Charon in one piece and seal the exit rift

- Despite presenting an awe-inspiring sight, the anomaly hits both Charon and the Ya'Vang with energy discharges -

- Astonished that both planet and he are still intact, Lt Cmdr Calhoun comments on the 'amazing ride', unaware that Rehu feels like hitting him for scratching her ship.
- While the bridge crew busy themselves with status reports and scans, security and medical can't seem to catch a break either.
- Commodore Rehu is treated for minor injuries and then heads to the planet, leaving a bewildered Lieutenant Shrishnar in charge.
- On Lyrilia, the population experiences their first sunrise, accompanied by Commodore Rehu and several other Charon crewmembers.
- Upon returning to Charon, the Commodore finds that her chief cook has set up camp in the Recreation Room for some "Southern Cooking".
With Eris deck still inaccessible due to power fluctuations, the crew is piling up in the corridors, but seems to make the best of it.
As Commander Jennings observes, some even appear to enjoy the diversion.

- In sickbay, Lieutenant Commander Ch'tan Foster finally awakes from his coma to be greeted by his father Ch'Krang.
- Lt. Leon Athalla visits the holodeck to log some time on a fighter simulation and experiences another strange 'flahback' episode.
- Lieutenants Erin Anderson and James Faltanis meet on the holodeck for a romantic interlude
- Lieutenant(jg) Acel'a pursues her investigation into the murder of the Romulan Scientists by questioning likely witnesses or suspects.
