Acel'a simply looked on, as she felt she had nothing useful, or worthwhile to ask or even contribute. In fact, now, she felt very inferior to EVERYone there! Acel'a was quite convinced she would stand out as a major screw-up!

Brent looked around for a moment before shrugging his shoulders and moving up next to the captain.  When holographic people began to draw near the Captain he pushed them back.  After a few minutes of doing this he realized something.  "Captain.  There have been threats made against the safety of you and your children.  I recommend that you withdraw from such a exposed area to help us safeguard you and your children.  Once we have have neutralized most of the threat to you and your family you should be able to return here," Brent said with his back still to the Captain.  He was still prodding away the guards and considered calling up holographic representations of a few of his marines.

"Hey doesn't the Captain have a bodyguard or something?" Brent said asking the Commander and the others around.  "Shouldn't he be here at least in 'spirit' to help us guard the Captain?"

Jade headed right for the bar as it was the most natural of his options.  He certainly hadn't heard anyone give him an order to guard the captain directly, so he took the more liberal interpretation of the objective to mean he could use his own judgment.  He could spot guys from the underworld easily enough.  Smugglers and dealers; hitmen and crime bosses, but if these 'sleepers' were assassins, that is actual -real- spooks, he wasn't sure.  Not much expirience with them.

Acel'a looked about, also wondering where this individual was.

"I'm not sure, sir, but I'll stand in, if you need me," said Acel'a, standing straighter, accentuating her 6'6" height. "I can provide some protection."

Runo stepped forward from his position, nodding to the lieutenant.

"Good idea... if you see anyone with anything more than a friendly hug intended, stop them before they get in range of the Captain." Taking a few steps, he blended into the crowd again, his frame and appearance helping him blend in. He possessed not descript features, a face that you forgot if you didn't try hard enough to memorize it. Laying a hand gently on people as he worked his way through the crowd, he kept a close watch for sudden movement towards the captain, a difficult task in such a large number of people. As he went to step onto the steps leading up to the upper story of Eris deck when suddenly he stopped and turned around. Something was different. He had grown used to having his hand sink in ever so slightly into a hologram but just then, the sensation was much more solid. A person, not a hologram. But which one? He reached over and tapped his combadge. "Be on your toes guys and gals. We've got solids, spotted one coming down from the upper deck."

Marcus just stood back and observed the team work as they scoured the crowd looking for the sleepers. One man stepped up onto the stage within arms reach of The captain's son. the man was waving his arms around as if he had a bit too much to drink.

Lt Acel'a quickly stepped between the man and the Captain's son.

"Sir! You need to step away, now!" ordered Acel'a, putting herself directly between the man and the child. athe man continued waving his arms.

"If you do not step back, now, I will be forced to take necessary action," Acel'a reiterated, her hand now on her holstered phaser.

The commotion around the captain certainly had his attention but he was more than content to remain where he was, which was behind the altercation.  He felt it someone hard to get motivated to protect something that wasn't really real.  Not that that was the point of the drill, but it was nevertheless kicked around in the back of his head.

Dylan's Comm badge sounded. "Commander Marcus report to shuttle bay 2" the Captains voice said.

"On my way Captain." he replied. "Looks like the training will have to wait till after the away mission."
