“Andorian Blue”
=/\= Starfleet Academy, 2406 =/\=
Cyrin had snuck into the main control room of Starfleet Academy, the instructors and various other students were off checking on something else. He tapped his chin, “Computer, give me access to all sonic shower commands for the academy.”
“Authorization verification code.”
“Damn,” Cyrin said to himself. He pulled the panel off of the front of the conduit and looked at the isolinear chips. Pulling one out, “Computer, give me access to all sonic shower commands for the academy.” There was no response, so he put it back in and pulled another one out, the room went dark.
“Whoops definitely not that one,” he said feeling around to push it back in. After several tries he located the proper one. “Computer, give me access to all sonic shower commands for the academy.”
“Authorization verified, access granted.”
“Excellent,” Cyrin said with a smile as he quickly began rewriting the program.
=/\= Meanwhile, Yaxara Hagen and Michelle Stones Quarters =/\=
“Yaxara, what did you think of Professor Scott’s exam on the xeno-cultural differences between the Cardassians and the Horta?” Michelle asked.
“Well, hmmm” Yaxara twirled a piece of her hair around her finger, “In all honesty I found it to be easy.”
“You would say that Doctor Hagen…” Michelle teased.
“Well yes, because many of these exams are quite easy compared to those at the University of Betazed.” Xara responded.
“Xara, why are you even going through the academy…I mean you already have more experience than some of the professors here.”
“To prove that I can do it. Plus the University of Betazed doesn’t offer certain courses in xenobiology like this academy does.” Yaxara responded.
“Couldn’t you at least get, I dunno, a field commission because of you having all those degrees?”
“That was offered to me, but it wouldn’t do me a lot of good on a starship now would it?” She asked Michelle.
“That may be the case, but at least you wouldn’t have to sit through these boring lectures on microfusion at the cellular level of a borg implanted with nanites.”
“That lecture was most fascinating as nanites are in essences parasites, just programmed parasites.” Yaxara countered.
“Well, even when you put it that way…I am still glad I am a counseling cadet and not a science cadet.” Michelle said throwing a pillow at Yaxara.
“I never considered that a human, could do counseling. Then again the real question is…how do you cope without having empathic abilities?”
“It is all in the body language and the vocal intonations.”
Yaxara nodded. “I see. Well, I need to grab a shower before I meet with the study group on advanced xenobiological studies.”
“Have fun…” Michelle said sarcastically
Yaxara smiled and headed to the sonic shower the two of them shared.
=/\= Back at the Control Room =/\=
“Come on, come on…hurry up!” J’Sot urged Cyrin.
“I am working as fast as I can, I just have to reroute this section here to this section, and make sure that the two sections won’t cause a power failure of the main shower function. We don’t want to blow them up just turn a few people Andorian Blue.” Cyrin said with a smile.
Several seconds passed, “There I think I have it, Computer initiate program Andorian Blue.”
The computer responded with a bleep and the screen showed them that everything was working as planned. “Let’s get out of here quickly before someone finds us,” J’Sot said.
“I’m working on it…working on it.” Cyrin said replacing the isolinear chip and the panel. “There, you leave first let me know if anyone is coming.” Cyrin said to J’Sot.
=/\= Back at Hagen and Stones Quarters =/\=
“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH,” came the reply from the sonic shower. “Cadet you are so expelled!” she hollered into the other room.
