"this is why we say Today instead of tomorrow. it's like the old saying don't put off what you can do today for tomorrow." She said with a grin finishing the replacing the EPS conduit so that it didn't cause that explosion he had predicted...
He scanned the engineering control station and grinned as it came to life."Power fully restored...Engineering is now operational..if still dirty as heck."He said to the lieutenant smiling. "Well as to that Lieutenant when it comes to dieing I would rather keep putting that off till tomorrow then do it today." he said with a chuckle.
She grinned. "Nice work Ensign." she said softly. "and to be honest So would I." she added though gave him a look that said not to repeat those words...
He tilted his head at her again and grinned widely."So...Friendly to Romulans and don't want to join the blackfleet any time soon. Your a very interesting Klingon Lieutenant." he said to her chuckling and replicated a replacement panel to cover the pool table.
"I am also Human. I view things much differently then either race and yet I agree with quite a bit between the two." She said solemnly starting to put the replacement paneling in as he replicates it...
"Yeah I try not to hate any race without giving them the benefit of the doubt. All except the borg...They should be exterminated from the galaxy." he said to her as he worked on checking the warp core for any problems.
"All races have very good reasons to hate each other. Hate comes to easily it is much harder to like one another then it is to hate." She said with more logic then Klingon's normally possesed... "Why should the borg all be exterminated? what about the borg who have been severed from the collective? The borg don't have independent thought like we do their minds are all connected to one mind, one voice telling millions what to do and they jump to obey without a single thought of their own as to whether or not it is right or it is wrong." she said softly.
She looked to him not in judgment, but in understanding. "If you can not see past your own hate, how can you expect someone who hates you, just because you are human to look past theirs?" She asked him softly... "come young warrior what is our next task?" She asked. D'Vana enjoyed working with him.
"I understand what your saying believe me Lieutenant, but the Borg don't really hate anything or like it. I don't particularly hate them they just creep me out really..And I don't think we'll ever be inviting them over to tea or what have you." he said with a grin and checked his work orders."Well it looks like the Bridge was totaled by the Romulans as well. Apparently Ensign Cyrin's Op's console was blown up again."
"Again? I think someone's trying to kill him." she said with a smirk. "alright, next stop is the bridge..."
Milo smiled at her and nodded packing up his equipment."Either that or he just likes the attention and is blowing up his own console every few weeks." he said with a chuckle and lead the team toward the Bridge as the last of the debris was transported away to be recycled.
