Active Crew: 13
Excused Crew: 08
Unexcused Crew: 04
Crew on Leave: 02

Charon Logs: 31
Guest/NPC Logs: 04
TOTAL LOGS: 35

A great week, a lower volume of logs but many of them were very well written so it all evens out :).  However, I am disappointed at the large number of unexcused absences.  Notices will be sent out this week about status, remember, if you join a sim you make a commitment to be active.  If you're not going to participate then you're hurting the sim by holding a position that someone might be interested in who will be active.  This isn't directed at those with excuses by your names- if you keep us informed then we know you are interested but can't commit the time due to RL obligations at present, however, by not informing us we just think you've lost interest.

Also moving forward with another tidbit.  We will finish the plot next Saturday (not this upcoming but the one after).  Then Christmas through New Years will be voluntary posting mainly for character development and also sub plot and next plot development.  I also want to add that in six (yes six) more days the Charon will officially be 1 year old.  Definitely not a big milestone in terms of sim age, but, considering how far she has come since conception I believe it is something worth celebrating!  So on Saturday the 19th there will be an IRC Celebration, I haven't decided on the time but it will be in the late evening EST.  It'll be a good opportunity for those who do not frequent IRC to meet up with your fellow crewmembers.  It'll also be a pre-Christmas hang out and good opportunity to hatch out some personal development between crewmembers :)

Since we're going to be picking up the pace to end this plot before Christmas it may get a bit hectic and confusing.  I'll be sending out OOC summaries of events every few days to keep everyone on the same page- this plot is actually leading up to a much more epic finale of our journey into Romulan space that will see us back in the SF side of the Beta Quadrant sometime in 2010.  It hasn't gone exactly as I have planned, which is wonderful, surprises make my job a lot more fun ;) since I get to react too!

Oh, and I want to give a big shout out to the science department and Nathan.  They've been extremely consistent recently.  For the Charon, especially, having a solid science department is important.  Great work, and keep it up guys!

Have a great week everyone!
