[Deck 8, Stellar Cartography - USS Charon]
Just as the rifts were closed and Galen informed the Commodore of that he looked over to Ensign Myles without a smile on his face or even changing his tone, "good work Ensign now please vacate my lab." Galen said never a big fan of having even Arkady in the lab and he considered him a friend and even a co-worker. After he said that he adjusted his consoles back to what he was working on before all the hub-bub of the moving planet the cosmic string.
Eve (NPC) just stood there baffled what she did and pulled off of more then just good it was impressive even more she was going to try and get this published in one of the Star Fleets Scientific Journals. It took a few minuets to say anything, "excuse me Ensign but what I did was genius not good." She said not sure why she was allowing this Cardassian to get under her skin she knew she did an impressive job. And with that she picked up all the PADDs that was using to make sure that this plan would go off without a hitch and hurried walked out of Stellar Cartography and back to her lab hoping never needing to work with that Cardassian again.
Galen didn't even bother looking up when Eve spoke and left he was planning on running some scans to make sure the rift didn't cause any damage to the system but he knew she probably would and as for where the planet ended up he couldn't do anything until they went to that system. Plus he would've to wait for the science officer on the bridge to send him some information and then he can work his magic. Tapping away at the console Galen didn't notice Arkady walk in or even him walking up to him, "so heard anything from the bridge?" Galen said not looking up.
"No not yet it'll probably be a couple of hours." Arkady said looking back to the main doors to Stellar Cartography, "so I saw Ensign Myles leave in a hurry I'm assuming it wasn't a pleasant ending." Arkady said looking at what he was working on.
"No." Galen said making some adjustments to the cosmic string from the new numbers he received from the probe that was launched from the Nova Class ship USS Doolittle. "I want you to stay on the ASci officer who is on the bridge I want those scans as soon as possible." Galen said feeling a little excited to add a new planet to the maps one that was moved through a rift.
"Alright I'll be checking in with them every hour." Arkady said smiling but knowing that he was going to have to he knew Galen way to well to know that he would've preferred every half hour but he didn't want to deal with them explaining that checking in every half hour was a ridiculous notion.
