------- SD241002.09 - USS Charon - Ready Room -------

The dim lighting of the Ready Room gently surrounds a figure seated behind the desk. Her raven black hair reflecting the yellow light, hangs freely around he shoulders. A relaxed look for the Commander as her hair was normally drawn back.

Serious eyes skimmed over the reports from the precious shifts. The atmosphere of the room slowly filling with the gloom of anger as the Commander felt it rise within her.

' How could this happen?' Her voice rang out in her mind. What was wrong with the security personnel of this ship? Two! Not one, -Two- breeches of security in a mere twenty-four hours!?

A growl of frustration emanated from her throat as she slammed the padd down, sending the others clattering to the floor. She had to take a moment to calm herself before she sighed and began picking up the padds.

Wonder came over her as she was curious as to why no one has looked into this matter yet, part of her wondered if it was not the Captain who as waiting for her to take the first move and establish an investigation into it. So, with that in her mind, she decided that she would start looking into what led to both instances, perhaps she would be able to get to the bottom of them. She would need to gather sufficient information before she could come to any conclusion in the matters. She would need a team to help her find those facts, not a big team, just enough people who she trusts will be efficient enough to complete the tasks she gives to them.

She had to be careful who she chose for her team also, since there was a high possibility that there were other -would be- assassins hidden in plain sight amongst the crew, she did not want to chance that someone on her team would be one of them. So, with that also in mind, it narrowed down her choices for her team by quite a significant amount.

A delicate hand slid over the console which popped out of the desk before her and she was able to bring up the personnel files of the few crew members she was thinking of choosing for her team.  Two people really stood out to her, and those were the two who would start out her team, she would wait to see how deep this investigation would get before she would add any more people to her team.

Once she chose who she would have on her team, she transferred all the needed data in relation to the case and investigation that she could gather from the reports into the Padd she had on hand. Standing up from the desk she left the office and went out into the Bridge area.

" Lieutenant, you have the Bridge." she told the young man at the helm controls.

With his nod of acknowledgment she left the bridge via the turbo lift and was headed towards the Captains quarters. She wanted to bring her intention to the attention of the Captain before she started any investigation, simply to save herself from any grief not telling the Captain may cause in the future.
