=/\= Below Decks =/\= Lieutenant Acel'a walked the decks, as per Lt Commander Marcus, to make sure the Romulan repair crew members didn't pry where they shouldn't She hoped they didn't try to start trouble as she didn't need any, at this point. Acel'a certainly did not want to give them any reason to start shooting at her, or anyone else. This reminded her a lot of her days as a cop, in Old Chicago. Back in those days, roving bands of thugs would look for trouble and would find the littlest excuse to wreak mayhem on unsuspecting victims. There was one who loved to target Acel'a, knowing they could usually do something to her pantograph, given half the chance. Many times, it would be a case of "ambushing" and subsequently peppering the device with eggs, tomatoes, or if they felt really ugly, rocks. This became a source of irritation, because she ended up having to take time off, to clean the device after one of their attacks. Acel'a shook off that memory and continued her diligent patrol of the areas she was assigned to. Upon approaching a team of Romulans, she quietly walked by, making herself as "benign" as she can, yet still keeping a wary eye on the men. Once she passed, Acel'a breathed a silent sigh of relief. Acel'a could not wait for all this to be over, so she could feel at ease, once more. =/\= End Log =/\= Lieutenant Acel'a Asst Security Officer USS Charon |
